Problems with my alarm clock

Use this Knowledge for approved troubleshooting and product information for the alarm clock models listed below.

- Identify the customer's exact product model before providing model-specific troubleshooting or reset instructions.
- Use only the instructions listed for the customer's exact product model.
- Do not assume that similarly named products use the same troubleshooting or reset procedure.
- If the customer's exact model cannot be identified, ask which model they have before providing model-specific instructions.

Important
- Wakie and Wakie mini are different products. Do not use troubleshooting or power information for Wakie when the customer has a Wakie mini, or vice versa.

IVY

Charging issues
- Try another compatible charging cable and power adapter.
- IVY is recommended for use with a USB-C cable and a 5V / 1A power adapter.
- If IVY works with another cable or adapter, the issue may be related to the original charging accessory.
- Do not automatically conclude that the cable, adapter, battery, or product is defective.

Battery life
- IVY can be used wirelessly for up to 30 days with the display turned off.
- IVY can be used wirelessly for up to 60 hours with the display turned on at the lowest brightness.

Battery life

  • KREAFUNK recommends keeping IVY connected to power for daily use, especially with the display and wake-up light enabled.

  • IVY can operate on its built-in battery, but display brightness and the wake-up light significantly affect battery life. Frequent charging or continuous power may be needed.

  • When a customer asks about keeping the display on without a cable, lead with the recommendation to use continuous power.

  • Published maximum battery life is up to 60 hours with the display on at the lowest brightness, or up to 30 days with the display off. Do not present these figures as guaranteed everyday runtime or continuous music playback time.

  • Use the recommended USB-C cable and 5V/1A power adapter.

Display

  • Press the light icon twice to cycle through the three display brightness levels.

  • Press the light icon three times to switch between DIS0 and DIS1.

  • DIS0: the display turns off automatically after 30 seconds.

  • DIS1: the display stays on.

  • Distinguish display brightness from the wake-up light.

Reset IVY
1. Remove IVY from the Bluetooth menu.
2. Press the power button 5 times to reset it.

Bell

Charging issues
- Try another compatible charging cable and power adapter.
- If Bell works with another cable or adapter, the issue may be related to the original charging accessory.
- Do not automatically conclude that the cable, adapter, battery, or product is defective.

Rattling sound
- Bell's snooze function is activated by a gyroscope sensor.
- The gyroscope can produce a gentle rattling sound. This is a normal characteristic of the product's design.
- Do not automatically approve or reject a warranty claim. If the customer's description does not match the normal characteristic described above, continue according to the relevant defective/non-working product Skill.

Display
- The display turns on when touched and remains on for approximately 4 minutes.

Battery and charging
- Bell has a charging time of approximately 1–2 hours.
- Bell can be used wirelessly for up to 30 days.

Reset Bell
- Press the power button (K button) 5 times to reset Bell.

Wakie mini

Charging
- Charge Wakie mini before using it for the first time.
- Use the included USB-C cable and a compatible 5V / 2A power source.
- The red indicator dot disappears when Wakie mini is fully charged.
- If Wakie mini does not charge, try another compatible USB-C cable and power adapter.
- If it works with another cable or adapter, the issue may be related to the original charging accessory.
- Do not automatically conclude that the cable, adapter, battery, or product is defective.

Battery
- Wakie mini has a built-in 3.7V / 3000mAh lithium battery.
- Working time is up to 20 days.
- The red indicator dot lights up when the battery level is below 10%.

Power
- Hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn Wakie mini on or off.

Display brightness
- Press the dimmer button to change the display brightness.
- There are 4 levels: high, medium, low, and off.

Reset Wakie mini
1. Press and hold the snooze button for 5 seconds.
2. Wakie mini will turn off and turn on again automatically.

If the issue remains unresolved
- Continue with any other relevant approved troubleshooting for the customer's exact product and issue.
- Do not repeat troubleshooting steps the customer has already tried.
- If approved troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, continue according to the relevant defective/non-working product Skill.
