Troubleshoot - headphones and in-earsUpdated a month ago
Try connecting the headphones to other devices to see if the issues persist.
If you experience issues with other devices, you should reset your headphones. Always start by removing the headphones from your Bluetooth menu.
aBEAT and aBEAT Qi:
Hold the + and – buttons for 3 seconds.
aBEAN:
1. Remove aBEAN from your Bluetooth menu.
2. Take both earbuds out of the case.
3. Quickly press each earbud 5 times until they start blinking purple (press either both at the same time or one after the other).
4. Place them back in the case and close the lid.
Your aBEAN is now reset and can be connected via Bluetooth again.
aPOP:
1. Remove aPOP from your Bluetooth menu (forget device).
2. Take both earbuds out of the case and then put them back in.
3. Press the gold button in the case for about 5 seconds.
Your aPOP is now reset and can be connected via Bluetooth.
aSENSE:
If your aSENSE are not working, you can do a
“hard reset”:
- Start by removing aSENSE from your Bluetooth menu (forget device).
- Place both in-ear headphones in the charging case.
- Press and hold the gold button for at least 15 seconds until they flash white in sync.
- Close the lid of the case.
- Open the lid, take both in-ear headphones out, and wait 10 sec.
- Open Bluetooth and connect.
Only one of the two earbuds should be flashing, and you can pair your aSENSE. Give it another go if it doesn’t work the first time.
